![]() Most of your campaign will be in warmer climates so the better stats here are great. Oathsworn get better stats because the Iceni/Suebi units get cold resistance, basically. Compare the Oathsworn to Suebi Sword Masters or Iceni Heroic Nobles. I will say this though: The top tier Arverni units are better stat-wise to their Iceni and Suebi counterparts. You can pick up celtic warriors pretty quickly which can help you if you're having trouble with your neighbors. Personally, I do not use the savage dogs regularly as they feel gimmicky. The only standout unit is the savage dogs units, which are hilariously strong against light infantry units. The Arverni roster isn't terribly diverse: They have standard spearmen, sword infantry, melee cavalry, and missile infantry. ![]() They're all solid units that will take you far.
